EDUCAR PROGRAM ACCOMPLISHES ANOTHER COLLECTIVE EFFORT
The municipal school Jorge Brito, located in Engenho Amazonas, in the city of Ipojuca is the next to be visited , on March 26, by volunteers of the project “Solidary Life: Together for the Ideal School”. This is the fourth school being visited by the volunteer group. Until the end of the year, ten schools will get benefits from this project.
The collective effort helps with new improvements in the school such as, painting, repairing of chairs, doors and windows, placement of new white boards in classrooms, roof replacement, apart from improvements in the electrical installation, water and sewage systems. Parents, students, and employees from Atlântico Sul Shipyard (EAS) and Camargo Corrêa Institute (ICC) take part in this effort. The renovation will benefit teachers and all thirty two students of the elementary school.
The project “Solidary Life” is a partnership between Atlântico Sul Shipyard, through the “Educar Program”, and Camargo Corrêa Institute with its project “Ideal School.” The aim is to contribute for the improvement of public schooling. This project counts on the support of the Department of Education of Ipojuca.
